Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm really happy to hear you're enjoying the game, and especially that the sense of progression feels good. I actually replayed the game a lot myself during development, tweaking things each time to make sure they are not too grindy or difficult.

Sounds like you're getting close to the water, there are still a few fun surprises waiting with the turtles once you get there, so I hope you enjoy discovering those :)

You're right about the Flask description being a bit unclear, and thanks for bringing it up. In the latest patch, I've updated the text on the Flask crafting menu to better explain how it works (here's the image showing the new description). Hopefully that makes it clearer that it's a reusable item that is refillable instead of single use.

And I'm really glad you're enjoying the music! I try to keep it varied while staying true to that cozy pixel art vibe. There aren't any download or streaming options yet, but it's something I'd love to offer in the future once I have added more tracks (might take a while).

Thanks again for playing and for the lovely feedback. Hope you continue to have a great time digging with your turtle crew!

Hi, thanks so much for the quick response! I think that new text clarifies it nicely!

I got to water and was pleasantly surprised by the cosmetic effect of the hats, they're super cute! Also enjoyed the iron helm challenge as a late-game achievement. I'm really impressed by how your different challenges/turtles/accessories push players to make different strategies for a deceptively simple digging game. It feels like everything you find underneath has a purpose (like I would neglect quartz on my Griddle runs but it becomes vital for Nix, gemstone hunting becomes easier with Caelo, etc). Also ladders are an amazing addition, they saved me so many times in the low visibility zones and is definitely a good QoL feature.

I'd like to ask what special effect does the jackpot turtle have? I've gotten to water with every turtle except that one because I haven't unlocked it. (Quartz grind will be my next goal) Btw my favourite track is Scoot's Theme, followed by Serenitrove and Bit by Bit.

Quite a bit of thought has gone into designing the turtles, equipment, etc. and a lot of it has been shaped by player feedback over the months. So all of you are very much part of the reason Serenitrove is what it is today. Thanks so much!

As for the jackpot turtle, he's more of a fun pick than a game-changer, but I personally love his hat. To unlock him, you'll want to stock up on Quartz. There's actually a hidden "pity" mechanic in place. If you spin the slots multiple times in a single session (without closing or refreshing your browser), your chances of landing the jackpot will gradually increase. So if you're aiming for him, try to do it all in one go, but expect to spend hundreds of Quartz.

Glad to hear you liked Scoot's Theme, it's one of my favorites too. I think it captures his carefree personality pretty well :)
