cool game i liked the ham they give u when trying out also dawin said hes into these types of games but the over arching problem and question i have for all of ur games are
1. where is senghok
2. where is bunleng
3. is the one of ur friends name starts with a letter a? if so isn't steve and alex?
This is such a fun concept for a roguelike deckbuilder. I'm a fan of the genre and I've never seen one anything like this, this is so cool!
The bones of what's here demonstrates a nice proof of concept, and it's a lot to get done in a short time, complete with all the UI, art, and sound. I'd love to play this as a full game after you've had time to build out and balance out out the mechanics so that you can really deck-build and strategize.
thank you so much, wish we had the energy to finish it tho
this game is so cool and awsome and amazing spectacular the only bad part about this game is that where is bunleng and senghok?
Very addictive game! The first time I lost I thought it was cause I had bought the forest location too many times and it was haunted (I was so wrong lol)! Knowing it's a demo that just ends after some rounds makes me feel more at peace cause I was acing itt. I didn't really notice the location boost working, I mostly just tried to match outfit colors/styles and that seemed to give me the most points. Overall a very fun game!! Love the concept

I liked the vibe of the game a lot! I kept getting "you lost" when I tried to go to the next location and I wasn't sure why
A pretty fun dress-up style game. Matching clothes in combos is a pretty creative concept, and the art and music are very well made. However, after a certain point, it became pretty hard to make money. The point minimum became so high you basically HAD to have the perfect outfit combo to win. This made it feel like you were at the mercy of the store rng giving you good items. Purchasing photo locations was also a bit confusing. I assumed I'd get to choose between locations I'd purchased, but it just seems to swap the current location with the one you bought. You're also told very little about the new location, so you kind of have to guess what category gets a bonus. Despite all that, the game is still very enjoyable, great work!
In the plans, there are more outfits you can pick up that score higher and additional ways to increase your multiplier for your score; however, this was done on a very limited time, and we weren't going to be able to implement them.
I liked the art and the concept is really inspired, I had fun.
This was kind of confusing at first, but fun when I got the hang of it. It's really hard though A+
omg the streamer
omg bro where the hell is bunleng and senghok damn it
It was an interesting card game. I wasn't sure what was causing the end game situation when you're done with the buying phase. I would have enough money to buy everything in that phase but clicked continue and lost which made me think maybe I should have just bought those items. I think knowing you would lose if you click continue would help. I wasn't sure what the purpose of buying new locations were. Sometimes I felt pretty comfortable with having the sweet tag or some other tag on the clothes so didn't feel the need to change up locations at all especially considering they were a lot more expensive. I think greater feedback on the point system would be nice to let me get a feel on what decisions I make that are "good" or "bad". Maybe it wasn't punishing enough with how many rounds I was able to get in and not knowing what it was that was "working". Wasn't sure if intended that that I should know which environments correspond to which types of clothes. In my first few playthroughs it was just remembering oh right this environment is the sporty on etc. I think when I knew about that a bit more, it was easier for me to justify buying a new environment. I did like the variety of styles and clothes that were out there and I liked the card game style of it. I think that was pretty unique and cool.
yes yes
bunleng and senghok?
It's a nice change to play a card game. The only thing that confused me is whether the game is endless or if there is an ending to it?
It's supposed to be endless, but with the current build, you'll only be able to beat a few rounds. The long-term goal, if we continue with it, is to make it so that you get some bonus goodies if you complete a run of eight rounds. It's kind of a roguelike card game that's a cross between gin rummy and Balatro, where you have a studio, girls who dress up, and you try to make outfits out of colors, styles, and types.
And I thought I was playing badly. At least now I have an excuse for losing. In any case, I like the concept; it's something new.
Thanks. I'm hoping we'll be able to take it further. This was a good alpha slice to showcase for the game jam.
