The overworld was so pretty! Like replaying an old gameboy world but with a lot more colour :p

Your sprite design is fantastic, super cute, the music was neat as well! (although it could use a longer loop or more tracks as it was too repetitive after a bit)

The game was a bit confusing in terms of objectives, I found the intersection a bit weird as well, it was not super clear that there was more beach, or why you could transition on certain tile but not on the one above. I also got friendtrapped once but could navigate out haha

Loved the use of dual language and the translation! added a lot of charm to the game. The setting was cozy as well.

Sweet and chill game!

Omggg this was sooo pretty and the music was super sweet too! The makeup bit was super cute too, but it was a bit hard to navigate the interactions. That section probably would have been better if you could use your mouse cursor instead. I also wish there was a bit more emphasis on the collection part (like if you could keep track of the shells you collected or something), but otherwise great work!

This was a very sweet little game with a cute aesthetic, and  I liked the ending :)

I wasn't able to figure out how to interact with the makeup, but luckily I  was allowed to move forward even though I hadn't put any on.

I liked making friendship bracelets, and how just about everything I tried to interact with had a line of dialogue about it. The music had a cute vibe too, I wish it were longer because it got repetitive. It also took me a bit to understand that there was another part of the beach to the right of the starting beach section, if you just walk right.

It was especially nice to see a retro-style girly game set in the Philippines. The inclusion of tagalog dialogue, the jeepcycle, and vendor with local snacks gave it a nice sense of place.

I couldn't seem to click on anything or interact in any way once I had opened up dialogue or a menu (like the makeup station)

Love the retro artstyle and music, and the tagalog in the dialogue definitely added to the story! When going thrifting, my friend trapped me in the store and I had to restart it HAHA, kind of wish I could like push her out of the way somehow

Yayyy, thanks for playing! <3 About getting stuck, I’m struggling with the friend’s movements when she blocks the player. I’ll try to add the push in just case HAHAHA. (><)

This game is eye-pleasing with its cute illustrations and characters. I love the interactions with the people, creatures, and things around. The music also fits the game's atmosphere perfectly. You're doing great, and I'd love to see this game develop further ^^.

this game was really cute and sweet! i loved the art and music. i was a little unclear on the objective at first and i wasn't entirely sure when i'd completed it, but it was a lovely experience! the cursors were also a little off in the makeup portion, but it wasn't anything gamebreaking. i'd be happy to see this developed further.  all in all, i had a good time!

I'm always charmed by games with a retro pixel art aesthetic, so this one stood out me right away <3

The manual make-up application is a neat idea- I'd be curious to see how you apply that to clothing in future development!

A funny thing I encountered that may or may not be a bug: I noticed that when I tried to walk up on the beach screen, all of my attempts to walk down again were blocked by the moving character. At first I thought this might be part of the game (she wants to tell the protagonist something?) but when I realized her dialogue was cycling, I began to wonder if it may be unintended.

The whole game gave me a warm and cozy feeling, and I'd love to see the finished version take form!

Developer

Aww glad you like the art and the make-up! ^^

Yes, it’s unintended. I’m actually struggling with the character following the player (Himig) hehe. So I tried to make her move slower than the player hoping it would be easier to go around her. (@^@)

Super cute and retro! I'd like to see more of it!

I really liked the look of the game! I think my biggest feedback just that the music loop is a little short and adding some simple sfx would have helped a lot for interacting with things. I enjoyed the setting and thought it was cute seeing your friend follow you around the beach. Relaxing and charming.

Developer

Thank you for playing!! I will keep that in mind!

The gameboy artstyle is so cute and retro. It´s nice to play a game that plays in the Philippines. There aren´t that many games.

Amazing style, you have to finish this project!

The gb pokemon artstyle is really cute, and I liked the color palette.
Also, the song is a really pleasant chiptune loop, keep praticing if you're not confident!
