Thanks for responding!! That "not yet" is very exciting to me, she seems like a very interesting plot hook all things considered- especially having just seen what the post-election scene reveals. Thanks to all these tips I was able to get an 18-pledged 23-voted win!

Funny enough I've only ever seen one assassination attempt (outside of the two that are, I think, inevitable) getting fubg ng gur whovyrr va zl svefg eha, juvpu V'z snveyl pregnva jnf n qverpg pbafrdhrapr bs nterrvat gb tvir Ureh Cevzr n 3eq ryrpgbe- juvpu evccyvat rgreavgl unfa'g rira erdhrfgrq bs zr fvapr gura.

I'm surprised this winning playthrough my Zorana was never in danger though- Korundi never reported above "one or two discontent" even though I took seemingly risky cabinet members and made a pretty serious blunder. Not sure if, in the course of the beta test, you're interested in things that seem weird like that? But if so-

There are no guaranteed assassination attempts (unless you count the one in turn 1, but you can make choices that lead to that being correctly recognized as not an assassination). If you keep everybody happy, nobody will try to kill you even at the main plot events.

... I 100% forgot that it is, technically, possible to die there. VERY VERY unlikely though. So unlikely that I might need to make it an achievement. (I forgot about it because it's not an 'assassination' in the usual sense of the game.)

How much approval you can lose through the whole pbybal thing going wrong depends on how quickly you resolve the situation. It can be a fairly large penalty if you're slow enough about getting help there but it's not a guaranteed fail state.
