Themes
I kinda followed the AI theme.
Team
Alone.
Jam
In regard to the jam I would like to see the resolution increased just a little to 96x96 which would help in certain games with hud, enemies, and more.

The ship design is cool but the enemies don't seem to want to let me win, especially a human who is blocking my way.
I think you had the same issue as someone else in that they tried to fly up the elevator shaft. The humans can't block you, you can fly right past them. Whats happening is that you can only fly as long as you have charge(The blue gauge) and you don't have enough to get up there. To get further you have to turn on the generator and then theres another step.
I like the idea, but the game is a tad unfair at times. Enemies can shoot you from off-screen, do quite some damage and shots are almost impossible to evade. Shooting back will just cost you health as well. I got stuck on platforms and enemies above/below me a few times, causing my early demise. I never made past the key, but maybe I was doing something wrong.
In regards to your comment about them jam in the description: You're right, allowing 96x96 resolutions would make things easier, but having to manage 64x64 is pretty much the point of the jam, isn't it? :D If you're looking for something like you described, try GBJam sometime in autumn, also on itch. You are limited to 160x144 px, 4 colors and the GameBoy controls (DPad, A, B, Start, Select) which you freely assign to any key. Works perfectly for platformers as this one and is quite fun as well.
Multiple people have mentioned check points/saving and had difficulty getting further too so if I do a post jam update might address the issue with the elevator shaft perhaps rotating the arrow to point downwards to hint where to go and perhaps a check point near the key.
I've done GB jam before but you're supposed to make everything from scratch which I don't like. Also the resolution might be a bit too large for my low quality pixel art haha.
Good job.
Pretty nice !!! But, as mentioned before, really unforgiving, checkpoints / saves could be a great addition
Nice work! It would be nice to have some checkpoints to avoid restarting the player from the beginning.
