This game is amazing! I love the atmosphere, the way to control the wheelchair and the story!! Great game! Good Job!
thankssss :3
I don't play a lot of horror games. But I really like this one. The story was unique, and I felt unease when I was going around. The music helped and was very good. I also like the style with the grayscale, and the little bit of red on the floor was very good.
Thanks (:
I don't play a lot of horror games but I really really loved how you made a game where the movement is a bit unique and built a story around it. My cat got very jump-scared, so she would say the game is very scary :D I loved the contrast with the greyscale and the red, it feels very artistic and intense. I would play more of a game like this!
Thank youuuuu... These comments are important to me hehehe
This was hands down one of the most effective horror games I’ve played in this jam. The atmosphere is chilling, with a minimalist yet grainy art style that makes every moment feel unsettling, and the sound design really amplifies the tension. The wheelchair controls gave me Katamari vibes in the best way, though I think adding some smoother acceleration and deceleration would make the movement feel even weightier. The story unfolds in a powerful way maybe a touch more subtlety could make it hit even harder but the ending is already fantastic in its dreadful simplicity. It actually reminded me a bit of Endoparasitic, which is a huge compliment. Overall, an impressive first step into horror, and I’d be really happy if you also tried my own submitted game.
wow I didn't think anyone would notice... that sounds like Endoparasitic to you just because I was inspired by that game... if the jam goes well I'll consider doing some sort of remake and making a real indie game
Thanks God. I didn't play that game at midnight 💀
PUAHAHAHHAAH... It was my first horror game but I don't know if I got the fear I wanted to convey well.
A well-designed game with a very good atmosphere and good mechanics. Good job!
thanks even though I'm well aware that the mechanics are cumbersome hehehe
You succeeded to create that uncomfortable eerie atmosphere, music and sound effects are amazing. The scary feeling was building up as the game progresses, and that jump scare almost gave me a heart attack haha. I love the ending.
Thanks
Wow definitely the best horror game I've played in this jam! 😨
atmostphere and overall vibe of the game was amazing, absolutely terrifying, even the artstyle and color pallette choice was great, very minimalist and grainy, jumpscare got me real bad haha, though I would suggest having the camera a bit more further from the player, it was kinda difficult to see what's ahead, especially with this type of controls, I would also suggest adding a accelaration and decelaration to the turning of the wheelchair, that way it doesn't just stop immediately, would really add a lot and make the character feel more weighty.
Overall, I usually don't play horror games alone, but really enjoyed your game, great job on your first horror game!
Thank you so much :D

What a phenomenal game, absolutely wonderful work! The controls were vaguely reminiscent of Katamari games (which I love) so I had loads of fun with it, I love the way the story unfolds but I do wish it was a slightly bit more subtle with the actual event, would be great to form the event in the player's head rather than telling them detail by detail the exact actions. I feel that it would work a lot better considering the subtlety of the visuals itself, though that is mostly just a personal preference. The graphics are amazing but it made me a tad bit lightheaded with the intensity of the filters, amazing ending, I love how dreadful it is.
I was also wondering what the reasoning behind the title is, is it an acronym to something? I may have missed it if so.
Definitely an extremely effective way of telling a simple story. Amazing!
thank you very much, I really appreciate it. si FATE is an acronym for "FRACTURED AFTERLIFE:TORMENT ETERNAL" and it is revealed at the end of the game... I was inspired a lot by PT and the theories that go around behind it and for the gameplay I was inspired by many small games on itch. I hope this game will be successful in the jam that in case in the future I would like to do it all over again and create a real indie game
I see! I definitely missed it then. Though if you ask me, this game is very successful already and you should definitely be proud of it!
Good idea and love the visuals, the movement of the weelchairs is a really cool feature.
thank you... I wanted to try to create an innovative movement even if it was mechanical (I tried to recreate the gameplay of another game except that instead of using the mouse you use the keyboard)
intresting ideas but after a few minutes my fingers are done lol
I know hehehe...I wanted to create a cumbersome movement on purpose but from some feedback they gave me I think I exaggerated
Really liked the idea! The movement system really helped in the immersion, great job!
thank youeee...for me these comments are very important <3
This is a brilliant game. Great story, and the whole top down, (somewhat 3d in some parts) gameplay is really cool. i havent seen something like it before. be proud, this was really good.
i’m super proud of it... I’ve never created a horror game and despite the result not seeming like one of the best I’ve learned new things and I think I have possible potential
