Really unique. I like the puzzles and they were very creative.

I think that this game introduces a really unique mechanic with moving objects on the map like a chessboard, which makes for some creative puzzle design. The ambiance and level ideas are interesting, and the core concept has a lot of potential. That said, the experience often felt confusing the rules for rotating stones weren’t always clear, level 3 seemed nearly impossible, and the skeletons moved too quickly to manage. Player movement also felt a bit slow, and a clearer in-game tutorial or indicators could have made the mechanics easier to grasp.

Despite the rough edges, it’s an innovative and memorable entry with a strong foundation. And since we’re sharing jam projects, I’d be happy if you also gave mine a try.

Very cool idea for a puzzle game, really enjoyed it!

Pretty interesting puzzles and good ambiance! I also couldn't figure out how to beat level 3, but the level design as a whole is pretty interesting. It would be nice to have an indicator showing where you can and can't move each stone on the minimap since that had me confused for a little while. Player movement also did feel sluggish. Neat game as a whole though :)

Developer

Thanks for playing our game! lvl 3 is too hard ( we could barely beat ourselves but thats mostly cus I know the game). And the player movement is sluggish I agree but we tried to make it feel like its less about movement and more about the stones/puzzles but Idk how best to balance that. Thanks again!

Like suggested by most comments, I think an in-game/visual tutorial would be much more helpful as it was just a bit difficult to make sense of the text guide with the visual of the stone grid and such. The puzzles are great though, I enjoyed the level design a lot. I think the movement of the player and the enemies could be upped, it is a bit tedious to get around the levels since everything is so slow. I'm also struggling to see where the theme of the jam is applied.

Overall a solid game, very unique and innovative main mechanic!

I totally agree. I will work on that in the future! Thanks for playing!

Cool Mechanic but the skeletons are too fast and i couldn't find a way to defeat them

Developer

Yeah, we wanted to make the enemies faster than the player in order to force the player to use the puzzles/stones but it ended up being difficult making levels that were easy enough during the time constraints.

Interesting mechanic, but I couldn't solve the 3rd level, the skeletons were too fast for me.

Interesting and cool mechanic moving the in game objects with an  UI map like chess. I didn't get how rotating is working, when I rotated the 2 on level 3 some "2" blocks disappeared for some reason but I don't know why. It was lacking in fully explaining the how mechanics work.
But congrats on your cool idea anyways.

Developer(+1)

Hey! Thanks for your feedback, the rotation rotates all stones around a pivot stone, but they just teleport to their newly rotated positions. Thanks for playing it we were greatly rushed at the end!

Good idea but turning stone doesn't work anywhere and level 3 is impossible. Maybe both problem connected but I don't understand. Good Job!

Developer(+1)

The turning does work! It rotates the stones about a central pivot which doesnt do anything meaningful in lvl 1 but it allows you to rotate the 4 stones in lvl 3. Level 3 is very difficult I apologize but we were able to beat it ourselves after some practice. Thanks for playing!

I just figured out, if you want turn a stone you must clear around from other stones. Sorry for misunderstanding. You might need to explain these mechanics to the player somewhere, but people like me might not understand. It was a nice puzzle game, congratulations again.

100% needs a better tutorial/explanation! thanks again for playing
