Incredibly in depth game! I haven't heard of many knowledgevanias. I loved playing it, and the entire progression. The way it told a story incorporated with the mechanics and gameplay was brilliant, using the medium of games to near fullest, in a way I wish our jam gam did with our mechanics. I thought I was doing  the (spoilers) crazy advanced fire tech wrong, and the crouch/summon symbols seemed to be the same, so I had to pick up a walkthrough which made me realize I needed to be on a sloped surface. Also, the ending made me realize that, just like all the advanced techniques, the path to happiness was with him since the beginning .

We’re glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing! :)

In case you haven't already, I encourage you to play Outer Wilds, I think you'd like it. It has all the things you mentioned in your comment, but cranked up to eleven, and is widely considered a staple in the "knowledgevania" genre, as you called it.

I’ve been recommended that more than once, but never heard it described as a knowledgevania. Might try 😎
