There's two different sets of instructions on this page for MacOS users. Do check and try both of 'em, and let us know if neither work for you.

The first set of instructions didn't work.

So I followed the Google doc Arm-64 instructions: Downloaded the stable model of "Mac OS X Arm64", copied the Arm-64 contents and replaced them in Grove's contents. But I can't find "app.nw" nor "package.json" anywhere even with search for those items.

Is the "Mac OS X ARM64" option on the site different from "macOS ARM64" in the google doc instructions?

If you're on an intel-based mac, then it'll have to be the first set of instructions.
If it's still not working, then you may have better luck looking up instructions on how to run the linux version of an RPGMaker MV game on MacOS, it's more compatible than the windows build
