How does your game fit the theme?
in my game, an artificial intelligence has you trapped in a loop, and the only way to escape you have to beat the platforming course designed for you

(Optional) What would you like to be called if GMTK features your game?
Andria Buzaladze (if you can't say that, you can just use Mr. Kubika, but it would be appreciated if you say my actual name)

Really fun platforming. The wall running mechanic feels sooo good. I think the controls just feel a tad too slippery, but otherwise its really fun to play, albeit super hard. I only have few pieces of feedback;

  • The initial head turn is really bad when you keep restarting.. At the very least, the mouse motion should be locked until the head returns back to facing forward.
  • In a game like this where you constantly replay it, death and respawn should be instantaneous (for e.g. see Celeste). Here you had to wait till the timer ran out. I just randomly found that R mapped to reset, so it was fine but you should let the player know about it.

Otherwise, super impressive for your age. Well done!

Great storyline and voice acting. I like the wall jumping mechanic a lot. I did notice what seemed like a bug where my timer would instantly drop from a minute to 44 seconds. I think the difficulty was pretty high, but overall, this was very well designed.

Very nice storyline, voiceacting, and shaders. The wall ride turns out to be pretty good. I'm not really great at this genre of game, or rather hand-eye coordination in general, so I did not manage to make it to the end. Not sure what's the turning around at the beginning, can be quite disorientating. Great job overall.

as a person who likes hard platforming games i enjoyed this, the presentation works well and platforming is really solid

a few notes,

the turning around at the beginning of the loop is really disorienting especially for a game you restart a lot

not such a fan of the fake platforms, they're a bit too  subtle and are introduced a bit too early

i also feel like for a start the platforms need to be a bit more wide, to account for player error

otherwise i like the fact that you can jump on walls while riding them the way the story was executed

the rock paper scissors took me by surprise

good work

neat little game, one thing I didn't like was the little animation that played once you got out of the spawn room, it kinda ruins the faced paced flow of the game

Love the concept and the humour in the game!

I see a lot of potential here, and I do think the wall run has some special charm to it. Keep up the good work!
