How does your game fit the theme?
Our game fits the theme "Loop" by trapping the player in a repeating experiment. Each trial resets, but subtle changes build tension and reveal the futility of escape. The gameplay, narrative, and structure all reinforce the loop.

Amazing for a first entry! I loved the isometric perspective and how the narrative blended with the gameplay, making the range of choosing the next location slower and slowing down the movement. You used a simple mechanic in a unique and fun way, which I'd say is the best possible way to make a game. We also made a puzzle game like this one sort of was. Would love to hear your feedback on it!

Very interesting narrative. I liked the status/intermission screens in addition to how the rat moves slower as it gets weaker. Congrats on your first game jam game! RIP Rat :(

That was painful and sad, 10/10

I feel the rat's pain... so very slow... (nice game!)

Thanks so much :)

Cool idea! The platforms were a bit hard to see since they were almost the same color as the background, but it was fun to see all the mini me's running around

Very good. I recommend you create  a sequel, to continue this story. EXCELLENT narrative.

This is really well-made. First game I've played for this jam that had an actual narrative, and I felt so bad at the end. The slower movement speed in the final level is a nice touch. Wait, was I the bad guy for not just quitting the game and letting the poor guy rest? Highly recommended :)

That's such a lovely review thank you :). Since this was my first time developing a game I wanted to put an emphasis on narrative and audio! I'm keen to take a look at what you built.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MR RAT!!!! This game is great, I really love the concept, and the art style, only "reccomendation" I would say is that I felt like there was to much dialogue, that I would have to click through, and it would completely stop me from playing, overall, great game!

Haha thanks for review. This is my first ever game and jam so I appreciate the feedback! I left a review on your page as well, awesome stuff!
