I recognized your name from Shovel Jam and since I loved your last game (I checked which game was yours haha), I had to check out this one! And it did not disappoint!

Playing as a wizard character that just has a magic hand that punches and grabs is such a fun idea. The mechanics were clever, and the art style is simple and pretty. And the narrative/loop?? I was actually shocked when I reached the end, that was such a great twist!

Some of the movements/dragging felt a bit awkward (but it could just be that I'm not used to this type of player movement) and I wish I could see the cooldown timers for punching and dashing, but those are really the only complaints I have. Really great game, nice work!

Haha, I'm almost a bit ashamed if you saw my last game. I was trying out a different art style on top of a different style of gameplay. That being said, I still think things came out presentable for a jam, lol.

I'd normally make the movement snappy, but I didn't know how to make it snappy and work with the grab mechanic, which I was experimenting with for the first time.

I'm glad you liked the loop. The web build actually breaks, and you don't die, so it spoils it a bit, but I'm happy you at least understood the intention.

The cooldown timers with punching didn't need to be so long. I made them longer a bit late in development after having my friend speed through the game on a playtest. Cooldown UI would make sense for lengthy cooldowns, although I generally prefer cooldowns so short that UI isn't needed.

Thanks for playing and for the helpful feedback.
