Just played.  I have not been able to create anything beyond one egg and one moth larva. Is that what's currently available or is there a moth bug?

I like what you have so far. The art is really cute. One suggestion on the text for your itch page (not the in game text). It looks nice, but is faint and its small size makes it hard to read. If it can be increased a size or two, that would probably help potential downloaders read it better.

The egg and caterpillar not having hover effects does not stand out too bad to me, but it you add them, just making the egg or caterpillar a bit brighter would work for an effect.

Thanks for playing my game and your feedback :).

Also thanks for your suggestions. I think it might be my favourite too, to just make the moth, egg, etc. a bit brighter when hovered. It's not too flashy and easy to implement. Thanks :), I'll probably go with this

About the bug: Did you click the caterpillar multiple times? It's sadly not clear from the current game yet but you gotta click on each state a bit more than on the last. For the egg 1 click is enough, then 3 for the caterpillar, then 5 for the pupa and then 10 for the moth. So maybe that was the reason? I didn't encounter a bug for that so I'm not sure, but I'll make sure to play again. It would be interesting to know where you placed the egg though :).

Did not realize it had to be clicked so many times. I was able to get a moth to pupate and hatch, but I can't trigger any more eggs or do anything with the moth after it hatches. (This moth was on the end of the leaf by the flower.)

Mhhh, maybe you need to collect more energy? It needs 1 energy per click. After the moth has left you get between 1 and 3 eggs to put them on one of the spots.

And the energy comes from clicked the flower and getting nectar, right?

Yeah and the flower takes some time to regenerate energy :).

Got it working just had to click the moth enough times for it to disappear. Some more sound effects on clicks could make the game more exciting and having a number status over each bug could help players know how many times they need to click. (For example, after you place an egg, it would say "0/1" above it, then change to "0/3" when it became a caterpillar, clicking the caterpillar would change it to "1/3," etc.. This might be harder to implement in Ren'py though.

alrighty, I think I'll do just that. Glad its working. Thanks for taking the time to test it thoroughly :). Also good to know there should be more clicky sounds. I didn't want it to be annoying so I started of with using just a few sound effects.
