That was a fun play! Cool idea, I love it.

Hey there and thanks so much for your nice and helpful comment :). You don't know how much it means to me.

It makes me happy, that you liked the tapping mechanism because I wasn't sure how it would be perceived. I just thought it would be cool to have some kind of influence on the story.

As for the bug / glitch: First, thanks for reporting. I guess I did realize something was off during development but didn't connect it to background switching. Kind of ran out of time before the submission deadline. However I'll make sure to fix it soon.

Hey there

I would love to team up for this jam. I sent you a friend request on discord.

I'll try to continue working on one of  my current wips.

I'll be working on the following things:

  • Finishing the Assets for the First Chapter
  • Writing the Story for the Second Chapter
  • Finishing the Second Level
  • Finetuning the difficulty of the minigame
  • Programming a special effect for the story part of the game

Don't know if I'll finish it all but these are the tasks I want to work on next anyways so if I only end up doing like one of the tasks I'm already plenty satisfied.

My goal for this week is programming a simple prototype for a minigame concept I have originally written back in November last year. The prototype should include the first two levels.

Hello everyone

If anyone is still on the lookout for someone to team up with: I'm happy with doing either part, be it mechanics or lore / story writing. I'm still pretty new to creating ttrpgs but I'll still work hard to make something cool :).

I think I'm pretty adaptable but my clear favorites are cozy games and games with animals (even better if it's a cozy game with animals). But I also like the classics like combat and fantasy and I'm fairly interested in doing something with dungeon crawling / exploring. The only thing I'm not all too interested in but would be willing to try is scifi.

I'm also not set on solo or multiplayer. I'm fine with either :).

If anyone is interested to team up, you can add me on Discord: crazybuglady96

Hey, did you already find someone to work with for this jam? If not, I'd be super interested :) especially since our interests seem to align perfectly. My discord name is crazybuglady96.

Thank you so much for your nice feedback. I am so happy you like what I made :) <3. Also thanks so much for hosting that jam. It gave me the perfect opportunity to make my little bug game a reality (and of course to see other bug based games).

Haha, special effect. Enjoy 😊

Hello there! Today I finally started playing the game and I'm really happy with it. The only thing I'm currently a bit confused by are the upgrades. It is stated that you can start with a garden plot and that the garden plot can have one reagent at a time of value 8 or lower.

How often and when can you harvest it? And would you need to have a specimen of the plant first to plant it? Like you'd have to collect seeds or spores or something to plant it? Or is this up to the player?

Thanks for answering and also making such a cool game :). I played it with my mom (even though it's solo but we made our decisions together) and we had a blast!

Super cool and the dice are so cute <3

I played this by myself just now and I had a lot of fun. I can totally see myself playing this with others. I like that it's so simple to play and doesn't take too long. Thanks for making and sharing this.

I only saw this jam just now... would it be okay to submit my game that I finished within that timeframe?

I didn't see a rule against it but it was not sure.

I started on April the 18. and published it a few days ago.

The game could need some "finetuning". Sometimes you fail even though you didn't really hit the cloud. Other than that the idea is really cute and everything looks very nice.

The crochet items are soooo cute. Did you really crochet them and turn them into 3d models or are they done completely digitally (asking as a 3d noob xD).

Amazing Game. Love it. So much fun :D

(1 edit)

This is super cool. Didn't beat the boss yet but I'm not done with this yet :).

Edit: Haha, got back to it, finally did it. Such a nice game. Love it.

Thank you for your comment. This version is sadly still buggy as I had to finish it in a rush. After the Voting Phase for the Clicker Jam ends I'll upload a more polished version where you can do the research and upgrade everything. Thank you for understanding.

Thanks for commenting. Sadly I had to rush towards the end and ended up uploading a buggy version of the game. I will upload a fixed version after the voting period ends where there is additional functionality as well as a bugfix for the research functionality.

Thanks so much for your valuable feedback. I'll work on the points you mentioned. I totally didn't think of the tutorial part. Thanks for mentioning it. I'll write one for the game page.

Sadly the game is quite buggy as I had to rush towards the end of the jam. I'm working on a better version to upload once the jam voting phase is over.

The clouds in the background are actually fog, because it's a foggy area where the catlike breed lives :). I'll try to make it better but feedback is always greatly appreciated.

I loved it. Was watching the progress on Discord and was soo eager to play it. Good for you for making such a polished and beautiful game <3 Congrats.

Thanks so much for trying out my game. Sadly it's not polished and still a little buggy... I plan on releasing an update soon, so it's more enjoyable.

I like the music and the sound effect. I also like the visuals. I couldn't upgrade my cursor higher anymore when the upgrade cost was 20 million though. That's not max level, is it?

I sent you a friend request on Discord. If you are not in a team already and comfortable with a rough existing story idea I'd like to work with you.
