I sat down with your game again last night and it finally clicked. I played it for about an hour and I really enjoyed it. Not sure why it took me a bit to get into, but now i really like it! Good work
As a fellow bug enthusiast I obviously loved the character. I also enjoyed the overall color choices, suits the topic and simply hits the aesthetic I like. At first I did struggle with the controls but I liked the minimalistic approach and at second thought I was like "this is exactly how a bug would behave"!
Very cute game and good use of the theme! I loved the overall look and feel. Steering the moth with the tank controls was challenging at first, especially when the heatsinks were introduced, but I got a handle on it by the end of the game. I would have liked a few more levels but given the one week time limit it's a very solid entry. Just shows how engaged I was. Note: I was able to finish the last level without disabling the last turret.
I wasn't used to the controls where the moth moved no matter what, but it was fun and I eventually learnt. I feel like there could have been more levels using the exploding battery, since it introduces you to it and then ends. But that was probably a time issue, and so overall I enjoyed it.
I really like the vibes of this game! It just looks so good, especially the moth. I admit, I did get a little tripped up by the movement. I kind of wish that the A key and D key would turn the moth in different directions, but it does add to the challenge of the experience.
Yeah, it's a bug. the game should work fine with the arrow keys
