Played ch. 2 over the weekend and - you are NOT playing around with it, are you? 🤣🔥 And I mean that in the BEST possible way -- like: Gloves are - OFF. We're IN IT, now~
Absolutely adored this second round; I can't tell you how many times I straight up slapped my laptop with glee and/or Beamed because, gosh DARNIT, I love baby MC so much (such a BAMF). Like, it's one thing to have memorable characters in general, but when I Utterly loooove who I'm playing as (or - love to hate them)? That's such an achievement and I give you all your flowers for it. Every. single. time. I hoped 'ooh - let MC be able to make this choice'; 'let her be able to be pissed off about this' -- you GAVE IT. Gave us that autonomy to really make her our own (and not this weeby woobie, 'I guess I'll just take it and pout in a corner' type). We already established she's a Stronk woman - but... she is so Human and deliciously faceted. Mmmm~ One of my fav parts was with Derek and this line: "But what does Derek know about the world?" 👈🏾👏🏾👑 There’s this Bitter, Angry thing within MC and - she’s not afraid of Letting it Out.
Kay: other notes I wrote so I wouldn't forget:
• Continue to be so Impressed with the art — even seeing things in the backgrounds - like deers or birds popping in and out of the composition was such a Nice touch!
• Absolutely ADORED the music; especially 1st song that plays at the beginning of this chapter. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous~
• Love that you made regenerating Prisoner (named him Red~) a CHOICE. You could have easily wrote us into whatever Plot you pleased; so I appreciated having the ability to decide my role in his fate. ("And if he turns out to be a danger… I’ll end him." *SNAP SNAPS TO INFINITY* STHAAP - I CANNOT LOVE QUEEN MOOOAAAR 👑)
- On the technical side: just a few typos, here and there - like words stuck together, misspelled, or a letter where punctuation should be. (You did amazingly for English not being your 1st language - more flowers 💐) That and sometimes, the sprites' ‘blink’ animation wouldn't work when they’re all on the same screen.
Lastly - please: I am BEGGING YOU: LET CLOAKED SILHOUETTE CHICK BE ROMANCEABLE 🤣 (joking, but I’m serious) I need some hotblooded mage/rebel action. 👀👀 Speaking of romance: AW SNAP - we can romance the Prisoner!! It seemed like the obvious choice - but I still think it’ll be an interesting ‘route’. I already think I know who he is given that conversation with village elder in old church..... ;)
