I’m so happy that flirting with Inga didn’t feel cringy to you. And I see your point about MC blushing! I’ll definitely check that and adjust it. It never even crossed my mind when I was drawing her; I just went YEEEE, BLUSH, LET'S GO and put red colour on her :D So thank you for saying it!

There will always be a fight with Haroun Zayne. He simply won’t let you go. If you tried the option where you give him Red, betraying the poor guy (SPOILER ALERT)...

he still attacks you, saying he promised to let YOU go, but not your children. So logically, you have to protect them.

This dude knew you were guilty from the beginning; he was just playing games with you. 
However, I was also thinking about an evil playthrough where you give up both Red and the children, and Haroun Zayne leaves you as promised. But that path wouldn’t lead anywhere—it would simply end the game. Maybe I will add this option when the whole story is finished :)

I won’t comment on the other things you mentioned, since they’ll be explained later in the story, eheheheh :)

About the new RO — let me know how you feel about her! I want to be inclusive, but as a straight person, I found myself a bit challenged when writing a same-sex romance. :D It might just be in my head, but I hope the flirting doesn’t come across as cringey. Please tell me if anything feels off or is missing. I’d really like to improve it if I can. I also wanted this RO to be more direct and forward in her flirting compared to the Prisoner.

I’m so glad you enjoyed it, especially the MC! That was exactly my goal. One of the main points of Chapter 2 was precisly the feeling you had about MC's choices and reactions. That’s why the chapter is called A Crack in the Wall, because the MC had built a wall around herself, and everything used to work just fine. But now, despite her efforts, that wall is starting to crumble (Derek, the village, the Inquisition, the Prisoner...). So of course, she would experience a lot of mixed feelings about it. She’s not a hero. She’s just a girl in the woods. :D

I’m also very happy you liked the backgrounds! I had several tantrums while drawing them :D Especially the village background. I had to redraw it multiple times!

The song you liked the most is called "The Stalking Mission" by Purple Planet :)

About the regeneration... Originally, I didn’t want to give the player that choice. Precisely because of the plot. But my boyfriend used my own words against me and said: “Don’t take the choice away from players,” so I had to figure out a way to include it without breaking the story. Actually, as I’m writing this, I just came up with an even better way to handle it… Too late, ahaha! (But I’ll write it down, maybe after the whole game is finished, I can tweak a few things.)

And yes, the Cloaked Silhouette will be romancable too ;)

I believe the game is best suited for 16+.
It doesn't contain explicit sexual content or heavy swearing. While there are dark themes, I don't think it reaches the level of an 18+ rating — at least not right now (and I don't plan for it to, but who knows what the future holds).

I try to make the romantic routes important and meaningful, but they won’t be the main focus of the story. That said, people who don’t want a romance will still enjoy the game, and those who do will enjoy the romance too :)
