I asked another dev what happened with itch, and was disgusted when he said itch was under attack by a SJW. Thank goodness I had a response to something so I could find CK easily! REALLY hope they relist adult games and I can actually find CK here without having to rely on exact URL.
After Patreon tried to kill CK, it's itch because of some jerks putting pressure on Visa/Mastercard. SIGH Really hoping this doesn't discourage ya, Arc!
They aren't SJWs, or at least not in the traditional "annoying liberal feminist" way you might have meant. (Sorry im not from the US that's just the impression I got lol!)
In Australia they are mainly made up from right-wing religious communities (mostly evangelist/Pentecostals). They partner and work with a lot of big archconservative Christian coalitions like NCOSE in the US, Exodus City, FI LiA, and CATW-Aus. At least the first two groups are pretty anti-LGBT and anti-trans as they are US Christian groups who are moral lobbyists for sexual censorship.
They basically advocate for the same regulations as the Australian Christian Lobby where they want advertising and media content to support Christian values so they're super anti-porn among other stuff like abortion, sex education, LGBT stuff.
Yeah I was equating them with a SJW like you might find in America!
It's still an attack on freedom though, and while I have no issues when it comes to real life exploitations and such, going after devs who are making a game that doesn't include anything unsavory outside of "sexual themes" seems like a massive overreach!
