Man I LOVED this game, it definitely had issues but the main concept and its implementation is literal peak!
I really wish there were more puzzles as it waas really fun to solve them!

The only thing I was confused about was what did u mean by raw materials, I just assumed that the dreamseed thingies were what you meant and it worked! (So i suppose it was them but it was a bit confusing)

So, for the visuals, Man I loved the dynamic and intuitive visuals this game had, the pop out when hovering, the animations. The overall artstyle was really cool! Tho Id def like to have a better background

The game itself was really really fun (IM NOT KIDDING HERE) I seriously LOVED the puzzle. I would add tho that the introduction with the main level was kinda hard as the player had to read and memorize alot. It would help to ahve each tile and subconscious be introduced to a bit slowly

Still, imo it wasnt THAT hard to grasp and quite intuitive!

I too experienced the black screen (which u addressed as  a bug) quite frequently..

After winning, I was left to want more, which is definitely a good thing, I really hope you work on this more as this has real potential!

Also really liked the theme implementation! Alot of ppl seemd to ignore theme in its entirety so it was nice to see some actually good and creative interpretation!

The game could also use some SFX for stuff like hovering and clicking.
Also some music

Overall, an amazing idea with even more amazing implementation! The black screen bug being frequent did ruin a bit of fun but wasnt a big deal. More Music and Sfx will make this much better!

Also I noticed that the textures and text was a bit blurry. Idk what engine you used but I think the texture filtering for the sprites is set to "linear". If it is try to set it to "Nearest"/"Closest"/"Nearest neighbour" to see if it goes away.

Congrats on your first game jam!

You did an absolutely amazing job here, Id say this is a very very rare thing to have such a good game as your first!
I hope to see more of your work, Keep working hard :D

Ah really glad you enjoyed it mate, and this feedback is really helpful, gives me the drive to keep working on it!

I totally forgot to give any tutorial on the Raw Materials concept. The idea is every building you place is classed as one of three stages in the thought "production line"; Raw Materials, Refinery and Storage. Then the adjacency puzzles will get more complicated by using those as requirements. But then I didn't put any explanation besides the small icons in the tooltip window - definitely something for the next version.

Completely agree the actual first puzzle will need to be simpler and introduce each building one by one. That, some SFX, music, and background art are next on the cards (after fixing the damn inventory glitch).

On the blurriness, I noticed this as well, I made it in Gamemaker and just went in to check the settings; pixel interpolation was on so unchecking that helps there.

Again, thanks so much for taking the time to give feedback, going to try to turn this into something!
