I actually got the download to work! I love the waves, they look so cool, and make the gameplay so much more engaging then if it where to just be a flat pane of water. The visual style is cool too. One of my favorite moments was when i managed to jump over a rock tanks to the wave, and then i use that rock as a shortcut to get another area, kind of surfing on it. I liked the twist of the boss being 3d. My only feedback is that health could be a little more generous in general, and if you want to expand this concept, you could take inspiration from the waves from mario kart world, that react to explosions by making huge circular waves that overlap the regular waves!
