Some nice level design, you did a god job slowly teaching mechanics and putting them together, that's some good forethought.
The art was very cute and I liked the tune you had playing, makes you want to head bob.
Nice work.
Thank you so much! Glad you enjoyed it.
I really liked the shrinking and growing mechanic great game!
The core mechanic was interesting, good job on the entry!
Awesome! Very well polished and nice use of tweens. I can see all the effort that went into this. Well done! :)
Thank you so much!
Very good level design! Not hard but at the same time, it needs the player to think about their moves. Art and music fit vrey well. Well done!
Thank you for your review! Its so hard to design hard levels while being the developer without a ton of playtesting. Glad you enjoyed it!
Really liked this one, some jumps are hard, but great plaformers are really hard to do during a jam x)
Loved the level design, the idea, everything, great job :)
Thank you so much!
I enjoyed this one! I agree with the possible speed/scaling improvements that others have already said.
Also, this probably was not a high priority feature for a game jam, but I think some type of squishy walking animation would have brought a lot more life into the slime similar to how you had a jump/landing animation.
Other than that I really like the visuals and art. Good work!
Thanks so much! I didn't even think about walking animation but looking back it does look a little lacking. Thanks for the feedback
The game was very fun to play! The level design is great and keeps it interesting the whole time but i do think that when you are small that you should be able to move faster, it felt slow and made some jumps unnecessarily difficult. This is great game for your first game jam, congrats!
Thanks so much for your review! The slowness when your small is such an easy thing to fix. I will definitely have to update it after the jam.
I beat it with a smile on my face the entire time. Very clever twist on the theme, nice aesthetics and and clever level design. I think you did a really good job of giving a lot of variety with a very simple idea.
The only gripe is it's very hard to tell just how low I need get to not hit ceiling spikes at time. Maybe you could shrink in stages instead of incrementally to give clearer changes is sizes, instead we're left just guessing and hoping. The quick reset button helped mitigate this issue a lot.
Very impressive for a first jam, keep it up!
Thank you for the feedback! I wasn't sure whether the incrementally increasing speed + jump scaling would be intuitive. That solution is so much better! Glad you enjoyed the game! :D
Good effort on your first jam game! The consume mecahnics are nice and it has good puzzle mechanics. Nice.
Cool game, everything work well, the difficulty is sometimes a bit high more on the last level where it becomes more of a precision game than a puzzle.
Yea I know I made the last level a little hard. Thanks so much for the feedback!
