Great art for a first game. Dripping with character. It plays a bit floaty if you want to go for precision. I think that it would go better with a looser sonic like game where you are focusing on movement. The wall jumping needs to arc more, it hits a certain point then just drops, or the level design needs to be such that you can wall jump and stick with 1 button press, not a press and a direction button hold to direct the jump just a little further. requireing that second interaction just adds complexity that can only cause slowdown. But the wall slide feels great and the splat when you are going to fast is hilarious. I hope you expand this into a full game.
