How do you get the last stone?

I’m currently trying to get the last stone (which I assume is 0.) However, if you ever try playing 0 to grab it, you end up ending the level and not being able to copy it.

It's not too hard of a challenge but maybe reread the notes in lab 3 if you're stuck

Yeah, I still don’t get it. There seems to be no clues in lab 3 (I don’t normally do reading puzzles, so there’s probably something really obvious that I’m missing).

I couldn't figure it out either, and after reading other posts I saw something I missed - to try to give a better hint without spoiling it:
Read the note in the 2nd box in the 3rd room. What stone is it referring to?

If that's not enough, I'll put the solution at a separate link (idk how to make spoiler text): https://pastebin.com/q9kcg3Sv (but I recommend trying it for yourself)

I can’t believe I missed it. I unlocked that stone RIGHT BEFORE I tried to get the 0 stone, and my brain just blanked. I forgot that I could do something like that, and I just skipped over it when reading.

it's neat that the key stone is the one it is, because 27's effect is really helpful for putting together the required combo

honestly idk how 27 helps cuz i used 59

apparently there is also an unintended solution, that I discovered by accident

Spoiler warning

using pickaxe on element X in your inventory factors it into random small primes + a zero stone that can be played

I used three 1s, a 27, a 73, three 59s, tweezers, and X.

First, reset until you have 59 and something else as a starting hand, play 59, and end turn. Then, if you have 27 in your hand, play it, cycling out any 1s. The same turn, play 73 (which suppresses the next card played and brings your energy to 0) and X, which becomes a suppressed 0 safe for extraction.

I was having trouble with this, but I managed to figure it out.

For anyone struggling, read the latter part of the description for the tongs you get from the lab.  It's easy to ignore because it normally doesn't do anything.  It's only in the case of these last two stones that it matters.
