Great game. Absolutely loved the movement and the level design which brings out both puzzle and platforming. Nice work!

Developer

Thanks!

I genuinely think this game deserves more ratings, once I got hang of the controls, it was actually quite a bit of fun :) the narrator was a good touch, I LOVE that you had a separate audio slider for the narrator, it may be such a small thing but I think it's something people often forget (even I did for my game honestly!). The mechanics were quite a bit fun with this honestly :) good job

Cool game, I like the narrative with the grey slime and the gameplay makes good use of the theme.

Sometimes the controls game me issues when I attempted to Jump -> Dash -> Double Jump (The 2nd jump sometimes never came out) but otherwise it was a pretty smooth experience.

Last level was a nice "use everything you've learned" sort of moment, except for the shield I suppose.

Nice work.

Developer

Thanks for playing! Originally, I did have the shield in the final level, but I was having bugs with it and ran out of time :)

The game looks great! I got stuck on the wall-jumping in the second level. I couldn't get past it.

Thanks so much for playing and for your feedback. It might be helpful to hold down the jump button as there is a variable jump height so when you let up you fall faster. Also, if you would like to play through the rest of the levels, you could use the level select on the main menu.

I really enjoyed playing this game. The narrator was very very helpful and I just love when games have a simple and fun mechanic and slowly introduce more parts. The levels where very well made and I had a lot of fun!! But one suggestion is it got quite tough for me so maybe make it a little easier. Other than that great fun keep up the good work! (also i think when jumping maybe add some kind of visual indication how far you are going to jump based on how long you hold down space, or make it so all jumps are the same power because that got a little frustrating for me) also btw this is my first game jam too! EDIT: I am very surprised this didn't get many ratings, it is a really nice game!!

Thanks so much for your feedback, I’ll definitely try your game when I get the chance.

On the third level your one way collision code was not working for the platforms and I kept falling through :(

Developer(+1)

Oh, sorry. Luckily it’s not necessarily to complete the maze, just go right when you enter

nice, good idea, I didn't expect the ending and tried to go the hard way at the end at first

Such a cool concept and absolutely loved the vibes. Some of the platforming was a little tough for me, but that's usually a me issue. Great game!
