Wait hold on this sounds absolutely sick, I'm going to need to check this out in a bit. I love the art direction from the screenshots. I've always wanted to do a clicker style game so that might be something I try next GWJ honestly! I recently moved to Godot myself, my past 2 jams were my first 2 games I've made in Godot and I've been loving the engine, the community alone has made me so happy to have moved over from Unreal. I think Godot is going to be my home for a while now

Ha thanks! I do have a YouTube video linked if you wanted to get a look at how the game plays. I'm pretty proud of it, but I'd have to rebuild the whole thing for Godot since I used Unity for this. Probably for the best anyway because you know that jam code is always a mess 😅

I'll definitely at least check out the video! I know how you feel, even if I want to work on the game I made for this jam, it's going to need a LOT of refactoring since towards the end I had to pull out all of the jank LMAO But I still learned a lot from it so it was well worth the duct tape solutions

Absolutely! I think one of the best things you can get out of game jams is building the tools and knowledge on how to do the boring stuff faster next time haha

I COMPLETELY agree with you, this game jam I was able to make so much faster progress because of what I learned from the first one I did in Godot. In my mind this jam would be a success as long as I learned something, being able to submit it and hear people had fun playing it is just the bonus :)
