It looks quite promising however as soon as i completed the first plate, the screen turns black. Is this intended?

Hi Sasuchi, thanks for checking out my game! Yes unfortunately there's a bug with the inventory system that I've only spotted after uploading, which means the game will sometimes crash when certain tiles / buildings are placed or swapped. I'll need to fix that, but you should be able to complete the level with a few tries. Is that what you meant by the first plate?
