Love it!
You should be proud of making a very addictive game without being predatory!

And of course I couldn't let Daniel keep the high score so I had to try hard 😅.
Still don't undrstand how the scoring system works, but I love seeing the floating point issues starting at x4.95.
Small improvement idea: I would only allow you to gather at max 2 shields or so, to avoid someone like me first gathering a ton of them and running in the corner (although I must say it felt great to feel like I was breaking the system).

The shield gathering was intentional since it is actually not even the most optimal way to gather score but feels really cool regardless :D

I audibly laughed at the floating point error when first encountering it during testing and decided to leave it in since it enhances the feeling of “breaking the game”.

OH COME ON

oh yeah, after a few minutes of playing, the game starts slowing down. This is due to the fact that the obstacles are never freed from memory after going off-screen… Sometimes I make the simplest mistakes :D

It’s rather unfortunate that I can’t update the game for the duration of the jam voting period, especially since I realized this issue almost immediately after the jam ended.
