I'm sure there's likely explanations for playing this co-operatively in the text, but as someone who hasn't bought it yet, may I ask a question about it? :O

I was curious how it worked, if players would be traveling together, isolated, or combination of those things? I've never done a solo game let alone one that can be converted to a multiplayer one, so this is very new territory for me. Am I also right to assume playing it this way will be GMless? I didn't see it mentioned in the description or tags but I may have missed it. Thank you so much in advance!

Edit: And oh! How much prep/time would players need to read rules and make characters? Could it easily be done swiftly before playing or would it require reading ahead of time of a session?

I've GM'ed this game for groups up to 5 people at combinations of teams, pairs, and solo. I essentially run the game as I would for myself, but narrate the world as the players explore. I would have each player/pair/group decide on what they wanted to do and then go down the line for each. I would often get players that are just moving around to go ahead without me, while working with the players who are doing interactions with the world.

Prep time is about half an hour, it it is your first time playing. If you are familiar with the game already, maybe 10 minutes. The process is simple and outlined in sequential order.

Ohh I see! It's very interesting how the GM is incorporated based on your description. Is the GM's main role to describe environments and encounters or is there story and NPCs added as well? All good if that's too broad of a question to answer though. 

This and Courier look absolutely stellar by the way, I'm very excited to pick them up!

I would describe the tile type the player was on, what the event/encounter was, and add any stories that fit the play so far. Making the scenario more active and alive for the player is key as they don't need to do all the heavy lifting. If the player has a companion, or is doing work for a Guild, I usually try to fit in other interactions for them that are small and don' require any rolling. GLIDE as a solo game is very solitary by design, where you rarely adventure out with a companion or other NPCs. I try to alleviate that situation when bringing players to the table.
