Got it. That’s a bummer, but it explains some other problems I have had.

This is a good start. There are some issues I would like to see addressed:

  1. The hit box appears to be quite large, especially in the rear of the ship.
  2. Needing to click and fire causes some hand-eye coordination issues and I am not sure I like it or dislike it. On one hand, that’s the point right? On the other, it seems odd that I wouldn’t want to be shooting wherever the cursor is located.
  3. There are loading issues I saw with background sprites popping in.
  4. A blue damage indicator is weird. It took me a while to realize that’s what it was.

Thank you for the feedback! I will address those one by one.

  • That is sort of intentional, since the character is so much faster than the enemies – if the hitbox was smaller, it would be almost impossible to lose; although it is perhaps a lack of playtesting.
  • It allows for better precision, allowing the players to only shoot when they want; this is especially important when it comes to secondary ability, that tends to have a longer cooldown.
  • I will look into it – allthough I cannot see them, I know where those might appear.
  • I think a tutorial explaining the main mechanics of the game is going to solve that issue – I will be finishing it as soon as I can :)

  1. Gotcha. I think you could come up with a more interesting work around though. Maybe in Al-I (algorithmic intelligence, a term I am trying to get people to use) behavior?
  2. Makes sense.
  3. Thank you!
  4. Yeah probably. Maybe an in-story explanation? Like it is an electric short and sending a flash of light instead of fire/blood/whatever the Hades red is supposed to communicate?
