I enjoyed the crown throwing mechanic and the ending was humorous! Haha
Pretty fun! Haha, love the twist, Mario's the one getting saved this time. I also liked the dash mechanic! I agree with the others that the movement and jumping feel a bit slow, but overall, great job!
The princess was a bit slow in terms of movement and jumping (which make sense since she has to move gracefully), but you made up for it with the dash mechanic, which I enjoyed spamming. Great game!
Thanks for playing, glad you enjoyed!:)
I loved the crown-dash-teleport ability
Funny interpretation of the theme
I felt like the castle area maybe needs checkpoints, it was tricky to to it in one go.
Audio became a bit repetitive after a while
Thanks for the feedback, checkpoints would for sure be a good addition, and wish i had some more music but it was something that i left to the end, so i didnt have time to make more, but will be something i try to be more conscious of in future jams!
I really liked the take on the dash mechanics, and the controls feel solid. Reversing the roles are a welcome move!
I dig. The main mechanic of throwing the crown felt well fleshed out and I enjoy the freedom of movement it gives you. The character controller was pretty floaty, which makes sense for the game but just not really my cup of tea, maybe if you upped the variable jump height to make it feel more responsive? Overall a solid experience
Definitely something I'll consider experimenting with in future games, thanks for playing!!
I really enjoy how you implemented your double jump mechanic here! It was a fun and sweet little experience getting to save my knight instead of the princess for once. Thanks for making and sharing your game!
Thanks for playing and i'm glad you enjoyed the game! :D
