Hey DyeDuo,

This prototype is looking pretty good and fun. It took me a little bit to get the controls down, but I managed to complete the level. I read over your design document, and I think the story you have planned out looks great. The movement feels good and flowy, but one thing I would add to the character is an arrow coming off from the center of the player pointing towards where the cursor is on the screen, while they are in the Red Eye form. Having a sort of helping tool like that can be great, especially if there isn't going to be much feedback besides the Red Eyes. It also makes it clearer where the double jump is going to push. As for the theme with AI, that topic can be very interesting once you dig much deeper with it. There are AI that produce an immense amount carbon, like ChatGPT, but there engineers and scientists aware of this issue and are trying to create AI that take significantly less energy to operate. For my two cents with the story, maybe have a character that is a 'good AI' and is stuck between the war with the humans and AI. Or any thing with a sort of plot twist is what really captivates me and makes a story more interesting.

Keep up the work!

Thanks for the feedback! You're right an arrow indicator for the Red Eyes mode would be great, it skipped my mind since I never had to learn the controls being the one who made them lol. Also good thought concerning the story, we plan for there to be a small plot twist at the end of the tutorial when you take the BluEyes off for the first time, but another plot twist/plot point to keep in our pocket until later would be a good idea. I appreciate you taking the time to playtest and write this feedback!
