Oh boy, I just noticed what's going on with the price change.. I intended to increase the price by 1$ for future customers, never intending to make every past customer pay an additional 7$. My worst case scenario was that people would have to pay an additional 1$ but itch seems to work kind of differently.. Sorry about all of this, I'll try to find a solution asap! I'll notify everybody as soon as I have!

Yeah I figured that's what happened... it's kind of sad imo to see many people immediately jump to negative conclusions, like you trying to shill out or scam more money out of your fans..
Happy to see you reading the comments though! not every dev goes through the 'hassle' of reading their fans' comments and feedback

Any word yet?

Don't worry, mistakes happen that's in our nature

Thank you

I created a feature request on their Github. Maybe if enough people pile onto it it will get addressed. https://github.com/itchio/itch.io/issues/1775

Remember this happening  at the time since I also bought this while the game was still $6. Still wondering exactly why it works like this but I'm glad I scrolled down the comments again to see you address this (probably would have been more convenient for everybody if this comment was a development log post instead. That way it'll be one of the first things people see on this page and clear up some confusion).

That being said, making an attempt to poke into the situation again. As much as I did enjoy this game (especially for an RPG Maker one these days) I'd rather not go through a whole new full purchase just for an update, let alone for something that's the equivalent of a game still in Early Access. Only asking since there hasn't been much communication here.
