I have a few questions about the game jam. 1. Is there any sort of reason for optimization? I normally code my games in Prosessing.js and html, but although it takes a lot of time to make a game, it keeps the files under 50 kilobytes. I am wondering if the 'it can work on ANYTHING' idea will have an effect on the ratings (Maybe as presentation, because it's accessible to everyone?). 2. Am I still a beginner developer? This was the first jam gam I signed up for, and I'm now creating another game for the jam. I have 13 hours left, and I can choose to not submit it if would make me ineligible for the beginner awards. This WAS the first jam I signed up for, but not the first one I will complete. Should I back out of that jam so I can be eligible for the beginner, or just finish that game?
