It's already two days and no response from support or change at the page, any advice?

Please wait.

Hi

It's been two more days, and still no action or response. And it seems to be a simple issue to fix on your end, so can you please let us know why is this taking so long?

Support doesn't read the forum, and I don't have access to support tickets, but this unofficial FAQ explains why it can take longer than usual.

Yeah, we've read the FAQ. Still, we are talking about weeks without any response from support, except for a generic automated acknowledgement of the ticket, we were sending reminders to support as well, and got no reaction at all, not even acknowledgement from an actual human being.

I do not want to be a pain here, but it feels tedious and is hampering any attempt to get traffic on the game, if it's not even indexed and can be reached only from a dedicated link - it kind of feels like a catch 22 situation.

...As explained in the FAQ you say you've read, you're expected to promote your own game instead of waiting for itch.io to bring you exposure. In fact that's the best way to expedite indexing, since it shows the game page has genuine activity.

We receive a large number of tickets every day and are a small team, so we may miss tickets occasionally.

NTTP is also correct though in that the "New releases" section is not necessarily the place for promoting your game, and being in the new releases section does not guarantee that you will experience increased traffic due to the large volume of projects that are uploaded every hour, and we encourage you to promote your game through your own channels, such as social media, Discords, contacting influencers, etc.

We appreciate your patience! Please check your ticket for your response.
