Interesting... one thing I can recommend is to quickly get the syntax of khan acadamy javascript, put it on w3spaces, and pump out 45-minute games. It gives amazing experience, and gives you a reason to keep going; as now you can develop a fanbase
I am a bit of a C# head myself, but I understand what you mean. Make a bunch of shorter games to build experience and a portfolio. Plus the added benefit of coding a variety of basic systems that can be expanded on or reused in the future. I should really start doing that. Honestly I got lost in what was supposed to be a small first project.
Thank you for the recommendation though, I had no idea khan academy had coding courses! I only really used the site for Mathematics in college. But I’ve been meaning to check out Javascript for a while. Similarly, w3spaces sounds like a good place to apply what I learn.
