Nice take on the genre. It would benefit from some sounds and visual feedback on getting hurt by enemies.

Not sure if there's any official term for it but a top-down survival game with waves of enemies and upgrades is what I was referring to.
i guess it's vampire survivor-like. I googled, it says it's a "roguelike, top down, shoot them up". So i guess this game is a "top down, shoot them up" genre
