sorry it didn't work out with Steam, you totally deserved that

(+3)

yeah i don't get this game doesn't have any loli shota stuff and it's a relatively "vanilia" game steam should rethink this

(1 edit)

Maybe because of the "school" setting. Reframing it as a "university" or "college" could work.

i heard the dev told them it was college and they still turned him down, also, the name of the game is "Uni", as in "University"

As an extra precaution we removed any mention of it being a high school, but the issue Steam had in particular was that it had school uniforms. Of course despite this you can still find plenty of erotic games on Steam that have School Uniforms.

The next question that would be asked here is "Why not remove all the erotic content and release a off-site patch like a lot of the games on Steam?" Well, that would make the game extremely extremely broken and unplayable and would require the patch to even work right and would give an extremely poor first impression of the game.

i hate double standards, but for what it's worth, you're not the only indie dev who's been screwed over by steam

Oof. At least we now know why. In 10 years, Hizor's masterpiece dating sim won't have school uniforms, so it can be released on Steam.

"Uni 2" is still going to have school uniforms.
