(Light-spoiler review)
So I've played through Parker, Gil, and Lars's routes, in that order. I liked the experience! Honestly though, I wish we got more answers to the game's mysteries. I wish this game had built its updates vertically instead of horizontally (finishing one character's route, then moving on to the next character, instead of equally spreading out everyone's routes). I feel pretty unmotivated at this point to start the other half of the game's roster's routes, because 1) I'm not really interested in 'em, and 2) I know I most likely won't get any answers from them. Regardless, the content is not bad at all.

To compare the routes I played: Parker was my first pick, because he is the most attractive to me. In fact, whenever I ran into him in other routes I had to stop and stare at the screen like a sl*t for a couple seconds. However his route seemed to be pretty separate from the game's mysteries, I didn't feel like I got any answers from it. It's a cute romance though.

Gil was my second route, and he really grew on me. I kinda like the pervy aspect to his character, I found it endearing. However this route's inner dialogue really annoyed me. Gil is clearly into Walter (my protagonist), Walter's clearly into Gil - why aren't they doing anything together? Walter's awkwardness got in the way of the story, in my opinion. Felt very frustrating to read, especially because I had been anticipating a pretty spicy route, considering Gil's personality. Turns out, it's the least spicy of the three routes I played. Not the end of the world, at least we got some good romantic bits at the end. Also gotta say, not a fan of the RNG on Day 11. The outcome of the day should've simply been determined by specific choices made throughout the route.

Lars was my last route, and probably my surprise favorite. This is what I was hoping to get from Gil's route, spice-wise. Lars and the Protag are very cute and cuddly together. And the route answered some of my lingering questions!

All in all, I'm excited to see the rest, but I'm probably not touching this game again until I get the conclusion to at least one character's route. I need answers!! :P

I think for Gil’s route, Walter is supposed to balance out Gil’s impulsive nature and vice versa. It’s why they’re probably trying to take things slow so they don’t regret anything. Like the story they talked about before the trip. But I don’t get what Walter was talking about when he said Gil lied about something.

he was talking about the lie he told walter when he left the house earlier then he wanted to. walter sensed the hesitation and later found out it was a lie. I think that was what happened with the whole lie situation.

I definitely need to know about this issue you had, my English is average, and I still don't fully understand the context of this.

i have nothing to say, but a slow-burn is nice rather than going into a relationship immediately

Perhaps that was before. Currently, if you make the right decisions along Gil's route, both he and our protagonist will interact, and he'll reveal relevant information about some of the mysteries in everyone's story. (I've replayed the route several times on different dates, and I currently recommend using the guide because I find it difficult to obtain. Then, try out variations at exciting moments if that's what you're looking for.)
