Nice work! Echoing other comments, just holding space would have been nice, in the tutorial I initially kept walking around the lab being confused and it was only wandering aimlessly that I found the equipment to destroy. Getting a “destroyed” counter would be nice too.

For cones, I’d recommend trying out the proximity fade node in the visual shader (and then converting it to gdshader like I do, I never remember that snippet of code). A common use is for shorelines to have water effects at the intersection, you could use this to essentially get an outline on the ground of the shape. Love the audio and the seeing the beak.

Mhmm I'll see if I can get the holding space suggestion implemented.

The "destroyed" counter is planned, I just couldn't figure it out until the end of the jam.

Thank you for the technical suggestion! Currently I only understand what some of these words mean but hey that's why I'm still learning lol

Here’s one tutorial on using proximity fade: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvoQqhLeans I’d recommend putting it on the cone and just following along and tweaking it to get an understanding of what’s happening. It’s really satisfying when you start building up a bag of shader tricks, never stop being curious and learning!
