This was cool, I loved the character portraits they gave me a very specific and unique nostalgic vibe. It was neat to see a big puzzle like this neatly condensed down into a bite-sized format, and I think that was successful. I saw in another comment that the retry button got lost by accident, I really wish it was there! The game did lend itself a bit to guessing and checking in the end, I would have really liked to have a big eureka moment instead of trying 3 different combos and going "oh I guess that one worked". It would have been cool if the deduction wasn't a one-shot then you lose, instead maybe you had to send a failed expedition to learn an important detail then incorporate that into your final choice. Nice work!

Thanks for the detailed honest review.
Story time: we had pretty much that planned. After each expedition you'd lose ppl and new characters join the cabin allowing more possibilities.
But, we actually started development on Thursday before the deadline due to personal/work stuff. So we had drastically cut in scope. And even ready made features, already written, such as individual endings based on the character combination, didn't make it because we ran out of time to integrate all of it.
