I think I ran into the same confusion as some others - it was mostly because it wasn't obvious to me that I had to have the ore land on the platform for it to be collected! I quite enjoyed the music so also turned it on ^_^. Cool concept, an unique mesh of resource management and digging.

I entered the game and did not understand how something happened
But thanks to the tutorial I figured it out, the game is amazing
In such a short time a lot was done, playing the game I was amazed
I didn't fully understood the mechanics of the game, and sometimes it could be quite confusing. However, the tutorial helped and the graphics and sounds fit well together. Also, the sound is turned off by default, but that might be on purpose? Overall solid game, and impressive work with such a short period of time.
Wow, this is really unique and fun. The makeshift crafting /mining is really interesting. Crafting with the combiner is kinda difficult though and it wasnt clear immediately what the point was besides mining fuel. Also I thought we would end up upgrading the drill itself maybe to start collecting what it mines, more fuel efficient, faster, larger etc This is a really promising game though I could totally see this as a full on title with a live action adaptation starring chris pratt
Thank you! Unfortunately Chris Pratt isn't picking up my producer's calls, but we could probably snag Pines or Evans.
Upgrades like you mentioned do sound interesting, I'd be happy to experiement with them once judging is over! I'm also currently working on redoing some of the tutorial, if enough people struggle with the Combiner I can certainly include some info about it there.

I must admit, I was confused at first, good idea to add a tutorial, very helpful !
I am not sure I identified ervything but I tried my best x)
Sadly, as sisimonis said, increasing the platform size, thus destroying the ressources appears to only disadvantage you.
I really had fun and spent way too long playing this haha! Some feedback:
- The feedback for oil drils arent that great. I spent a long time trying to figure out how to get fuel because i didnt notice drilling automatically has the number go up, so i was messing with all the other tools to figure it out, i kinda missed the part in the tutorial about it
- Tubes are also a bit confusing at first and very difficult to place whilst the big drill is moving
- Item crafting is very difficult, i never managed to get to a point where i could combine because other items would just keep falling into them and i couldnt go off the platform to set up a crafting section because of the oil, i like the features, they just arent very synergistic.
- Music and sfx are turned off by default
Overall, i had great fun!
Impressive game !
A lot of features for one game, and they are clean (especially the pipe ones ;)).
Missing some ambiance and concerning the gameplay i have some remarks :
- Increasing drill size means less ressource to farm as the plateform brakes them all, which is really sad.
- I got soft lock because i couldn't get any material because of this
-the bombs are quite useless sadly

Unfortunately I didn't have time for much playtesting during the jam, so a lot of features certainly need some rebalancing.
I'm especially sorry to hear about you getting softlocked! There is actually a fail condition for moving the drill too slowly or running out of fuel, but it clearly doesn't act fast enough if players think they are softlocked.
