This is great! Its my favorite game of this Jam so far! The art is great and it fits the horror theme very well. It looks like a mix of FNAF but with SCP, and I love that. My only critique is that sometimes the game play feels a bit to slow, but maybe that helps making the game scarier. And the UI could have some more work. But besides that, I look forward to se more updates :D

I didn't fully understood the mechanics of the game, and sometimes it could be quite confusing. However, the tutorial helped and the graphics and sounds fit well together. Also, the sound is turned off by default, but that might be on purpose? Overall solid game, and impressive work with such a short period of time.
Thanks so much for the feedback! I am glad to know that the start zoom and the gibbons hitbox are consistently an issue that everyone agrees, as I could easily fix them. The same applies to the performance issues. It's also great to hear that the core loop and theme resonated with you, and that you see the potential for a fun and unique .IO-style arcade game. Its a bit to soon to know for sure if I will further work on it, but I will for sure continuing developing games! :D
Thanks! I was aiming for an .IO game style. To be honest, I didn’t have much time to optimize performance or do a lot of playtesting, which is why the FPS is a bit low and, based on most comments, the game is too hard. I had planned to introduce bombs that you could collect and use against the enemies, but I was too busy with work and didn’t have enough time to implement it. Maybe one day I will make those changes! :D
Yeah, sometimes the spawn of enemies and gibbons is a bit inconsistent, even though it’s supposed to be around 50/50. The code I wrote also tends to create small clusters of gibbons or enemies, which can either be very helpful or quickly end your game. I wasn’t able to fix this in time, but I can suggest that you normally will find more gibbons closer to your starting point.
Hi! It wasn’t my intention to make the game full screen, but that’s how it turned out. I’ve tried to change it on the itch.io page, but it doesn’t seem to work—so I think the issue is in the game files, which I can’t update right now due to the deadline. I was hoping the full screen mode wouldn’t be an issue, since on my end the game still displays well. But I really appreciate you pointing it out—thank you! 🙏
