Wow, a very nice game for a first jam, well done! I think you might want to look into some performance optimisation, I was running at like 5 fps the entire run, I assume because theres a lot happening off screen. The collisions with fello gibbons makes the game difficult and I feel the ramp up on enemies is too much. Very unique game! Reminds me of those .IO games from a few years ago, although having some way to fight back like if they kill a gibbon, they die too, would be nice.

Thanks! I was aiming for an .IO game style. To be honest, I didn’t have much time to optimize performance or do a lot of playtesting, which is why the FPS is a bit low and, based on most comments, the game is too hard. I had planned to introduce bombs that you could collect and use against the enemies, but I was too busy with work and didn’t have enough time to implement it. Maybe one day I will make those changes! :D
