Thank you so much for playing and for creating this jam! You may refuse the credit, but the idea likely would have never become what is it without this jam—perhaps something else, but not Louisa's laundry filled world. So, again, thank you.
Regarding the scrap: the writing does eventually earn you scrap, but you have to write enough "pages" to get to the point of being able to submit it. At this point, the thing that looks like a blue trash can accepts your piece, and you get one scrap for every written "page" (every writing interaction at the desk creates a "page").
Since it was a simulation that somehow ended up being close to how poverty can feel, I left the rules for play vague. Perhaps, too vague, however.
And yes! I think some nice music and some tragic weather could be a great addition.
Currently, this is just a beginning. There is no way to progress past the writing and laundry, yet.
After the game jam, I hope to add more: including a plumbing issue that prevents saving until fixed!
