On this rework you removed almost all of the tower range upgrades, the remaining ones got pushed out to the edges - on level 1 and 2 there are quite a few spots that towers are just barely short essentially requiring at minimum 1 or 2 of these upgrades. Little frustrating since they were so easily accessible last time, but everything else looks and feels really good so far 

Hello, thank you for playing the game. I am a bit confused, since I didn't change any range node locations in the talent tree. Two of them were nerfed down to 5% range instead of 10%, but otherwise they are the same. This was just to have consistency in the tree. I made leveling up a bit faster the first 50 levels or so at least, so hopefully it didn't take too long getting them :)

I did only try it once before the update, the lay out is pretty big so maybe I accidentally went down the wrong route this time - I enjoyed making it farther this time then last so it ended up fine! Thanks for the fun game 

Would that apply to the range of bouncing shots? Or does tower range not affect the range of bouncing shots?

No it does not affect the bouncing range. That is always the same:)
