I found this to be a very charming game! The visuals, sound effects, and music all work well together, and it’s all brought together with simple to understand controls and a fun/funny narrative! Very nicely done!

My two small critiques are…

Some of the placements for the rail stops (or, more explicitly, the lack of some) feel off. I noticed this the most in the first level, where two lines had no stop signals at all. This caused collisions that felt totally out of my hands, as I would let one train through (seeing no other trains on the screen) and suddenly here comes a train from one of the unstoppable lines.

While I agree there should be some consequence for stopping a train for an extended period of time, I feel that having a train “crash” into the stopped train from behind (and, as such, off screen) doesn’t quite feel fair. Maybe there should be some form of indicator such as, for example, a timer that will pop-up giving a countdown until the collision occurs.

Over all, in my opinion, there shouldn’t be a loose state in a game that isn’t the player’s fault in some direct way.

But, again, these are small critiques of a really excellently put together game!

EDIT: Almost forgot… here’s a direct link to my stream of your game!

Thanks for the critque, and for streaming the game! The idea woth the lack of signals on a couple of the lines(mostly a thing on the first map, where we were still figuring stuff out) was that the track without a signal would be a constant threat that you would need to keep an eye on. I'm not sure if I would change that in it's entirety, but I would want to consider adding a way to predict incoming trains, like a signal or something.
