How do you beat the final boss

Which part are you stuck on?

I don't know about him, but nothing I do seems to work when he's ready to fire the satellite weapon. Select all the squares with cows. Read the terms and conditions. I do all that. I've turned brightness and sound up all the way. I've changed all the settings in every way I can think of and nothing works.

Hmmm, after completing the EULA and captcha, you should be able to interact with it again to shoot the weapons (and succeed under the right conditions). I might update and streamline this process a little better.

To get past that part - you'll need to set up the stormy weather (night + weather on) to use it as a lightning rod.

Phases 1 (sound), 2 (sunlight), and 4 (text speed and alien langue) were okay after some trial and error, but it would have been difficult to figure out phase three through trial and error. The part about the saber and the lighting rod... I don't recall reading that in a conversation. If so, it was a conversation that couldn't be viewed after the fact.
