Hey NeonPaladin. Thanks for these thoguhtful questions and comments.

1. Death occurs at 0 HP but I need to state this outright in the rules.

2. Yes, the Human classes are based on those traditional classes. The Monster Hunter is the Fighter.

3. So, a Monster Hunter gets their Class bonus when they engage in armed combat, i.e. using weapons (both melee and ranged). The Ne'er do well gets the Class bonus for fighting meaning when engaging in a fight with melee, ranged, or eve unarmed, they get the Class bonus. This is going to be changed to unarmed combat for the Ne'er do well however.

Thank you for the answers!  Another question:  The rules say Combat is d20 + Level vs AC.  But many of the fighting type classes also get a Class bonus for armed combat.  So does that mean a 5th level Monster Hunter is going to have +10 to hit in combat?  That seems high compared to other OSR games.

This is also too high for non-combat skills. Version 0.92 has been uploaded with Class bonuses granting Advantage instead of a modifier based on level. This simplifies the math and keeps in line with other bonuses in game. So, now you have combat as D20 + Level vs. AC and if you get a combat bonus you roll Advantage.

Nice work!
