nice music and art style XD
I also like the palette swap mechanic XD
Found a way to get infinite points. Just keep hitting the dudes when they KO so they get stuck in the air $$$ :D
Nice music and art style. Cool palette swapping.
I think some auditory feedback on hits landing would have really improved the combat, it was a little difficult to get a feel for when I should throw hits.
Still I liked the art, music, and the sinusoidal dithering was super cool. Great game :]
I really liked the game from sounds to art it is good and fit the theme will also the combat and animations are fire but would just say that if you can W,A,S,D work its better since most players use them. Great Job
A nice beat 'em up game! I really like the kick sound—did you record it yourself? :-)
I think the reaction to a hit could be a bit more immediate. It feels like there's a slight delay between landing a hit and the enemy reacting.
Other than that, it's a great game!
Thank you for the nice words! No the sounds I borrowed from someone called FilmCow - https://filmcow.itch.io/filmcow-sfx
So unfortunately I can't take credit for it. But the person who made it is in the credits.
And thanks for the constructive feedback!
I'll check out the reaction time issue, will be good to fix for a follow up release of same game.
Really love the visuals on this one, there's just this vibe too it I can't quite describe. Found an exploit where you can just keep hitting guys as they are playing their dying animation and getting score for as long as you're hitting their bodies and the level never ends haha
Thanks for the comment!
As mentioned earlier. the visuals is a story by itself, about the shader that is responsible for it.
I was quite pleased with it, but got a bit of a scare when I found out the browser anti aliased it, and would technically be adding more colors. I fixed it, and thankfully, the end result was still nice to look at.
