Don't play on PC if you want to have an actually controllable game.
The distance you drag the mouse controls the force. Not swipe speed. So do a longer drag to give it more force. You will get the hang of it.
It's not really about the force, it's more so, that this game is clearly made for mobile. Having to click and drag for every movement doesn't feel natural at all on pc, expecially on laptops
